I taped some thin cardboard to the front of the battery and one side so that the box would be slightly bigger than the battery. I then added tape for release and put the battery on a flat board (released). I used a bit of modeling clay to make a radius between the battery and the flat board. I then added 3 layers of 195gsm glass over the whole thing and then a further 2 layers on the mounting edges.
