Canopy - trial fit

The canopy can be supplied as "partially moulded" or "free blown". The former gives a much sleeker look and is the one I prefer. The shape of the canopy bow is important and you need to fine tune this to suit your canopy (they are not all identical!). If you make the bow too low you get the "bum cheeks" look which is not pretty. If you make it too high the canopy does not conform well to the side profile of the aircraft. It is worth experimenting with a temporary bow until you get a good compromise between the two extremes.
