Elevator bellcrank - trial fit

Assemble the elevator bellcrank. Mark the elevator cut line on the stab. (the elevators are 210mm wide at their root end).

With the stab fitted, carefully mark the position of the hinge line on the fin skins. Remember that the actual hinge pin is slighly below the surface of the stab (study a piece of piano hinge). Cut 25mm diameter holes in the fin skins for the elevator bellcrank bushes. Trial fit the bellcrank as shown. You can temporarily tack the bushes to the fin skins with 5 minute epoxy.
