The trick here is to "bond" the spoilers in position prior to sanding the wings. That way you can ensure a perfect profile over the spoiler and finish its top surface at the same time that you do the wing. Bevel and trim the spoiler edges just enough to make the spoiler lie below the wing surface by about 1 mm. Once happy that the spoiler is not "proud" anywhere stick some masking tape all around its edge. Apply a little "ramwax" or similiar to just the masking tape. Make a small bead of micro all the way around the spoiler recess (not too much or you will curse later when it needs trimming!) and squish the spoiler into position. Apply just enough weight to hold it down....and tomorrow you can start filling and sanding! Once the sanding and priming is done the spoilers can be popped out and the mechanism fitted.
